What I would bring if I got invited to to join Nainoa for three weeks at sea. I enjoyed doing this activity´s over the holidays because I think the summer learning journey is a fun summer site over the summer holiday . I found it hard because I cannot think of all sort of foods they were. I really like the summer learning journey because I think it is a really cool program.

Christmas 2019

We are learning to make an animation on google photo's.Using an Image using we had to modify it.Then download as a png. We did this 4 times so the image can animation our Christmas animation. 

I found It tricky and easy but It was easy because the week before I did this, It was tricky because I didn't know how to put it on blog and I have to ask another person older than me.

STJ-Teaser week (Lorde)

WAL about the summer learning journey. Jordan (the cluster manger) send us a activity to do for the summer learning journey. We are doing a profile (poster) about lorde. what I learnt about lorde is her famous New Zealand song is Royal. I enjoyed doing this because It was fun making this because I loved the song royal and I never knew It was made from lorde. I wish I could meet her someday

WAL about kiwiana. My favorite thing about kiwiana that its relevant to New Zealand for people who live in New Zealand. I found it tricky because I copy and paste some and made my own words in some. Omana beach 2019

Last week on Friday we went to Omana beach.When I was in the water for the first time it was very cold so all the girl screamed in the water, then we got told off. After we got out of the water I got snacks for me and my friend from my family then went to the beach with me and my siblings, My favorite part about the beach is playing in the water because I splash my friends in the water even if there not in my group. I really like playing at Omana beach and I want to thank my school for taking us to the beach.

Kiwiana

We are learning about brands for kiwiana. I learnt that 4 square was the first ever super-market in NZ. I found it tricky because the cross-word looks like a single word, Next time I would like to work on kiwiana stuff instead of kiwiana brands.

Kiwiana (pavlova)

We are learning about kiwiana. I found out that pavlova is named after a Russian ballerina Anna pavlova who toured Australia and New Zealand in 1926 and she was born on 12th of February 1881 . Finding my own words to my information is easy. Next time I would put more information onto my post when I'm able to post more. what I want to work on next time is still pavlova because pavlova is the most easiest kiwiana ever.

Year 5 's sport Analytic

On Tuesday we did Sport Analytic, we did fun sporty activity like throwing the ball to see how far you can throw a basketball, Jumping to see how far you can jump but there's more in the flyer you can see. We even got the chance to take a picture with them. Thank you 7 Sharp

Making my own fence using a polyline

WALHT use the Polyline tool to make a Image. Making a fence with straight line was easy. Next time we are going to use a photo of us and try to curve  the lines.

Term 3 Reflection

What I enjoyed about Highwire this term is ABL because we do fun

stuff like the floor is lava

What I did really well is at is P.T.

I think memory stuff could of been better this term because I worked on this country called Kenya and I forgot to say words in Swahili

One thing I want to change about tui hub is our behavior because we haven't been listening to our teacher a lot

Reflection Term 2

My favorite part about this term is going to winter field day because I played Rippa rugby and I didn't know how to play but in the 3th round I got used  to it. but there was only two boys so four girls can join the  game and there was one teacher but our Kiwican leaders help with the Rippa rugby team . after we got back from school we had lunch. then my teacher wrote what we enjoyed about Winter field day. I said nothing, but after school I went home and went to sleep.

Tuis

Tuis are birds that are only found in New Zealand.

A tui has a long thin beak and sharp claws. From a distance they look black, but when you come closer it's blue, green and bronze feathers glimmer. On their neck they have a tuff of white fluff.

The tui eats nectar, seeds, fruit and insects. Its favourite nectar is from the Kowhai tree.

Tui’s live in the New Zealand forest where the kowhai tree is found. There are many native bushes around New Zealand for them to live in.

Tuis are smart. They copy sounds like other birds songs, ringtones and what people say. Tuis put their chin and head up to show they are proud.

Tuis are endemic to New Zealand forest.

last week was Samoan language week so my class E1 and E2  did something about Samoa language week.
I learnt that the Samoa is a island located in the pacific ocean.
I find it  easy and tricky because it was easy doing the information but tricky finding them in my head.
Next time I would put more images.

Soldier tryouts (ANZAC)

WAL what it's like to be a soldier.
I try all the exercises and I was successful with some of them. I learnt that it was hard doing all of the exercise from the soldier. it hard because the sit ups was hard for me.

WALHT adding and subtract.I learnt that  increase means adding. I found it easy because I knew everything about these.next time I would add more images

What makes a good password

WALHT what makes a good password. A password needs a sentence so nobody knows what your password is. I learnt that  you don't but your name or date of birth. it was easy because I learnt this all last term.

Resolving Conflict

WALHT resolve conflict. I learnt how to behave like a owl. I found it easy because I did not need help to make this post. Next time I would like to do this again. The shark is a mean way to be, the turtle is a little mean and little nice, the fox is like the turtle but fair. The owl is the kindest thing ever it will not fight and not do the wrong thing, also thinking before acting.  The teddy bear is kind but will not talk about the problem.

Making our stories interesting

WALHT Make our stories interesting. I learnt how to add sounds words in my stories. I found it interesting because I never used questions,feelings and sound words. Next time i would post more stuff on my next post and here's a story to that i did in the holiday in 2018.

Looking out the car window i could finally see a sign for Dargaville. So I went back to sleep. Next time i woke up I saw Auntie's house. I was excited. My Auntie  gave us a hug  and we all  went inside. Waiting for us was baby Elijah. we all gave him a hug and asked my Auntie.
"Auntie can we have a meat patty?" we ask.
"Okay" said Auntie she gave us all a meat patty"
"thanks Auntie" i said
"your welcome"

"Oh mum"we moaned as we packed up. as we went home.

Glenbrook railway

At school we were waiting for the bus to get to Glenbrook after the ride to Glenbrook
we had morning tea. After morning tea we went on a train ride.on the ride back we went to saw Thomas the train and we got to touch him.On the ride back we ate lunch and miss castle said after lunch we might go for another train ride but we didn't. After the bus ride home we did are Karakaia and went home.
